EMPIRE TRILOGY

In the late 21st Century, an alien pathogen nestled within a meteor collides with Earth and transforms the planet into a wasteland of monstrous mutations. The plague spreads rapidly, devouring humans, animals, and plants alike in a frenzy of grotesque alterations. 
Only one barrier stops the flood of carnage: saltwater.

Years later, humanity’s surviving descendants live in smaller societies scattered across the islands of the Pacific Ocean. Some fear the virus was sent by a hostile alien race seeking to terraform Earth in preparation for their imminent arrival. 
Others believe the gods have punished humanity for their disastrous hubris and sin. 
Only a small faction see a unique opportunity in the strange radioactive crystals growing on the mainland. A chance to power an ark ship that could leave the planet and save the remainder of the human race.

But to secure any hope of escape, they will need to face the hungry horrors that dwell on the continents and revisit a lost land they haven’t touched in generations.
